Clean up my stock listThe hard part of a new POS is your product list
Choosing a POS system is the easy bit. The work that decides whether the first week goes smoothly is getting your products in: hundreds or thousands of items with inconsistent names, missing or mistyped barcodes, old prices and duplicates. Typed in by hand at night, it takes weeks and errors show up at the counter, when a scan finds nothing or rings up the wrong price.
We do that job properly. Your current export or supplier price lists go in; a clean file in your new POS's own import template comes out, with every barcode check-digit validated and anything doubtful listed for you to decide. We do not sell POS hardware, software or card processing, so our only interest is that the system you choose works on day one.
Who it’s for
What’s included
- Up to 1,000 products cleaned up: consistent names, sizes and variants split into options
- Barcodes checked with the check-digit rule. Invalid or duplicate barcodes are flagged, never invented
- Prices tidied to 2 decimals, with zero, blank and unusual prices flagged for you
- Categories mapped to your list, and near-duplicates listed rather than deleted
- Exported in your POS's own import template: Square, Shopify, Lightspeed, WooCommerce and others
- A 10-item test import first, then the rest once you approve
- A change log (before and after for every row) and an exceptions list to check
- Tax settings follow your bookkeeper's advice. We do not decide tax codes

How long it takes
A stock list clean-up has a working first version in 24–48 hours once we have your export and the target POS template. Over 1,000 products, we take a quick look and quote first. Connecting a POS to live dashboards (PosBridge Sync) starts with a quick look at your POS, and the timeline is in writing first.

What you can do yourself, free
Choosing a POS? Ask each provider: Can I export my products and sales any time? What are the card fees? Does it work offline? Can it share stock with an online store?
Where we work
We are a Western Sydney team helping shops and cafés in Blacktown, Seven Hills, Parramatta, Penrith, Castle Hill and Rouse Hill get their POS ready. Stock list work is done online, so we can help businesses anywhere in Australia.
Quick answers
The POS provider charges for its software, hardware and card fees. Our stock list clean-up and import is a fixed one-off price, shown above inc GST, for up to 1,000 products.
It depends on what you sell. Square suits many small shops and cafés, Lightspeed suits larger retail ranges, and Shopify POS suits shops that also sell online. We do not sell any of them, so we can give you a straight answer when you tell us about your business.
Yes. We export your clean list in Square's or Shopify's own import template, test 10 items first, then import the rest.
No. Most of our tools sit next to your POS. If you want them to share stock or sales, that is PosBridge Sync, and we check your POS can do it before we quote.
No. Card processing stays with your POS provider or bank, and they set up the terminal. We take no cut of your payments.
We take a quick look at your list and give you a written fixed quote before we start.
